What’s to Know About the Shenandoah Rail Trail? This multi-purpose trail (walking, running, biking)

About this event

Don Hindman, chair of the Board of Directors Friends of the Shenandoah Trail, will update us on the community proposal for the single rail route from Broadway to Front Royal (nearly 50 miles).

The board has launched a new nonprofit, Friends of the Shenandoah Rail Trail, to support the transformation of an unused single-track railroad corridor between Broadway and Front Royal into a multi-use trail reconnecting communities, businesses, schools and cultural and historic resources.

Come and learn what you can do to bring this new trail to reality.

Guests and friends are welcome. Come early to enjoy conversation over a cup of tea.
